I recently participated in Seminar on: “E-Publishing & Global Promotion of Indian Publications” on 1 st July 2006 at Auditorium, National Institute of Industrial Engineering (NITIE), Mumbai. I also gave a presentation on - "Contribution of NIC in Global Promotion of Indian Medical Journals [ 1.5 MB PPT File ]".
In my opinion - Indexing and Open Access to Full Text of the journal content are the best ways to promote any journal.
