As reported in Yahoo India News, Open access publishing takes off in India. Indian journals are moving to the free open access format of internet publishing. About 38 journals Medical Journals are hosted from medIND site - http://medind.nic.in . A commercial publisher http://www.medknow.com also provide open access to number of medical journal from their individual journal sites. Interesting the best Indian journals as ranked by their impact factors are openly accessible.
